Our Vision

Our vision, here at Mountain View Church, is to attract all people to Jesus Christ, and grow together in the abundant life of Holy Spirit.

Our Mission

As a church family, our mission is to love the people of our community, and the world, through the grace and mercy of God the Father, His Son, and Holy Spirit.

Our Values

The Living God:  God is our number one value. Without God the Father, His Son, and Holy Spirit, there is nothing. He is light and in Him there is no darkness at all! God is love, and His love is the light of men and women. Exodus 15:2 and Genesis 1:17

Scripture/The Word of God/The Bible:  We highly-value Scripture.  It is living, authoritative, powerful, and infallible, because God honors His Word. Matthew 15:32 and 2 Timothy 3:16

Service:  Justice, mercy, mission, and service flow throughout the Word of God. Jesus was the greatest example of a loving servant, and our passion, as a congregation of believers, is to become more like Him daily! John 13:12, Mark 10:45, James 2:14 and Micah 6:8

Children:  Jesus loves children and, because He does, we are thankful for them and honor them as great treasures in the Kingdom of God! All those who love are His children. Luke 18:15-17

Youth:  Young people are the Church now and the Church of the future. Many youth give their lives to Christ before the age of 18, so we must do everything possible to help them experience a personal and passionate relationship with Jesus. Psalms 127:4, Proverbs 22:6 and 1 Timothy 4:12
Seniors:  Highly valued and honored here at Mountain View Church, our Seniors teach us Godly wisdom and willingly share their golden nuggets of earthly experience. They know how to love well and model that love daily in excellence. Job 12:12 and Leviticus 19:32

Priesthood of All Believers:  Every Christian is called to use their gifts, talents and callings to minister the Kingdom of God to a hungry and hurting world. Our desire is to help people discover these abilities, and to use them wholeheartedly to serve God by serving one another. 1 Peter 2:5-9, Romans 12: 1-2 and Philemon 1:6

Creativity/Worship:  We are thankful for all The Arts and enjoy seeing them used in the worship of Jesus Christ. Helping people experience Him in worship is a true passion for us here at Mountain View Church. Psalms 150, Psalms 149, Psalms 5:7, Psalms 122:1 and Exodus 15:2

Community:  Because our passionate goal is to be an "Acts 2 Church," we appreciate being together for worship, prayer, meals, fellowship, and discernment. It is imperative the Body of Christ hold onto God and to each other in these last days. Acts 2:42-44

Outreach:  Jesus gave us marching orders to go out and disciple people for the Kingdom of God, so we are thankful for this great calling. Matthew 28:16 and Philemon 1:6

Love:  We esteem love because God loved us first and demonstrated that love through his son, Jesus. We know there is no greater love than this, that a man give his life for his friend. John 13:34 and John 3:16
